Louisiana and the Gulf Coast share a love of crayfish with Sweden and Nordic Countries. The odd thing is Nordic Royalty started the crayfish party but in Louisiana Swamp People enjoy them.

Each year Ikea sponsors crayfish parties in the fall while we in Louisiana enjoy them all spring long. We call them "crawfish" and export a lot all over the world. Louisiana crawfish are world travelers and love to party with anyone who wants to join.
