Former New Orleans area Justice of the Peace Shares Traditions

A Louisiana publication that states "our goal is to capture the essence of the people of Louisiana and celebrate our rich, diverse culture. We hope to enlighten our audience through our tales about the many exciting facets of life in Louisiana...." Interviewed me recently and came out with a nice article on Louisiana weddings. Here is an excerpt and link to the full story.

"Dr. Jerry Schwehm, a New Orleans native and oft-requested Justice of the Peace, states this having conducted 17 years worth of personalized wedding ceremonies in the Greater New Orleans area.
"Just like all the stories we grow up with, we all want to live "happily ever after." Every bride wants to begin married life with the best sendoff possible, and none are better than the traditions we grew up with," said Schwehm."
